Accessibility

Accessibility statement

Ayush should work for everyone, including people with low vision, limited mobility, older users and people on slow connections.

Our target

We design and test Ayush against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we follow India's Guidelines for Indian Government Websites where they apply to private services.

What's built in

  • Large-text mode and support for your device's text-size settings
  • Light and dark themes with contrast checked for both
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus
  • Labels and text alternatives for screen readers, including descriptions of charts
  • Low-bandwidth mode that skips web fonts and animation
  • Reduced motion when your device asks for it
  • Voice input for notes, where the browser supports it
  • English, Hindi and Marathi, with fonts that render Devanagari clearly
  • Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels

Known limitations

  • Full Hindi and Marathi translations of every page are in progress. Key screens, buttons and safety messages are translated now.
  • Exercise and yoga videos will have captions and audio descriptions at launch; illustrations currently carry text descriptions.
  • Charts show trends visually; the doctor report and reading tables give the same information as text.

Feedback

If something doesn't work for you, tell us at ayush.support@insightnexus.in or through the contact form. We aim to reply within 2 working days and fix accessibility issues as a priority.
